Bdeo brings together 16 insurers to present innovations in claims management technology
21 June 2024 · By Ana Navarrina
Bdeo, the technology company that develops Visual Intelligence for the insurance industry, held the first Bdeo Grand Prix in Mexico City. This event brought together some of the main insurance companies in the Latin American region, who were able to learn first-hand about the new features of Bdeo's product in motor claims management.
Bdeo Grand Prix 2024: what did it consist of?
The event was attended by 16 insurance companies from Mexico, Argentina and Guatemala, such as Zurich, Chubb, AXA, Allianz, GNP and HDI, among others.
During the session, Cash&Go and Bodyshop Negotiation were introduced, two new modules or functionalities of Bdeo's product for claims management that will speed up the immediate payment of compensation after a motor claim, as well as making it easier for garages to provide additional evidence, and for insurers to negotiate with them.
Both tools also offer a digital tool for smartphones from which adjusters, appraisers and workshop personnel can add evidence and manage the case, each with a different interface adapted to their needs.
Streamlining claim lifecycle management
Bdeo's technology already makes it possible to manage the claim from start to finish: from taking evidence by different means (photos from the insured's smartphone, video call with an adjuster, or direct taking of photos by the adjuster at the scene of the claim), through the detection and verification of damage thanks to Artificial Intelligence and ending in a triage or an estimate of repair costs to facilitate the insurer's decision making.
With the new features incorporated, the process allows for on-the-spot compensation if indicated by the triage through AI; moreover, it accompanies the case to the workshop and allows the workshop team to add additional evidence.
Thanks to its solution for claims management, as well as its product for policy underwriting, Bdeo already works with 9 insurance companies in Mexico, 28 on the continent and more than 60 worldwide.
