17 August 2022 · By Ana Navarrina

It’s always nice to receive a little recognition for your work. And because the insurance industry can be tough, when awards season rolls around, it’s nice to be able to see that — despite all the challenges — you’re doing great work.

An award can be more than just a pat on the back. For smaller insurers, it can be the validation they need to make them a real player in the market. For larger insurers, it’s a sign that you’re doing the right thing and can prove that to your customers.

There are many great awards for insurers worldwide, so we’re going to break things down into locations to ensure you find the right award for your company.

Drumroll at the ready, here are — in no particular order — the top 10 awards for insurance companies!

Latin America

Five Star Award

The Five Star Award seeks to identify the most innovative technology executives across the insurance industry in Latin America and is given by CELNET and Insurance Innovation Reporter. Our Argentinian client Orbis Seguros won the Five Star Award in June 2021, thanks partly to Bdeo.

The Argentinean insurer has been serving its policyholders for over 60 years. Despite their seniority in the market, the company isn’t afraid of innovation. The company aims to always go one step further for its customers, a value we share at Bdeo.

Bdeo played a part in Orbis Seguros’ commitment to innovation that led to the award. They came to us when building a dream team of companies and technological solutions, the Avengers of Insurtech if you will. Aligned with Orbis Seguros’ goals, our symbiotic relationship was fundamental in efforts that won them the award.
